Course Schedule and Tuition Information

Summer / Fall July 2003 - December 2003 Winter / Spring January 2004 - June 2004 To acquire further information or to register, please contact Joe Lado Sr. by telephone 705-328-2005 or e-mail ladomusic@on.aibn.com Tuition Information The cost of tuition is $8495.00 (U.S.). This includes the full cost of tuition, any tools required to complete the course, all materials involved in the construction of your instrument and the use of an additional guitar for repair purposes. There is a $500.00 application fee, which is non-refundable and will guarantee your space in the course. This fee will be deducted from the final tuition fee. Payments may be made by Visa, Mastercard or money order and can be made in one of the two following ways: 100% upon enrolment or 50% upon enrolment and 50% after 2.5 months of starting. Course Requirements and Completion To be considered for enrolment, you must have completed high school with preferably a woodworking credit. If available, a copy of your woodworking grade will be requested. Once you have successfuly completed the course you will receive a "Lado Luthier Certificate". Theis certificate and the knowledge you have acquired will provide yoiu with opportunity for possible future employment with major guitar manufacturers, small custom facilities, or local music stores, including Lado Musical Inc. Advantages to the Lado Lutherie School The Lado Lutherie school intentionally limits its calss sizes to 6-8 persons per class to allow for more individual attention to ensure that students fully understand the concepts being taught. Testing will be done informally on a daily basis. Students will also be given a final evaluation at the completion of the course. As Lado Musical Inc. has been a manufacturer of fine guitars for 30 years, we have a knowledge base to teach students how to create fine guitars within our own modern manufacturing facility. Our plant includes a state of the art vac system for your safety, a large CNC machine to ensure accurate cutting every time, electrical benders, and a high tech spray booth to give your instruments a high quality finish. We will also teach you how to craft beautiful guitars the "old fashioned " way to allow you to work at home without all of the 'high tech' equipment. This will also give students more opportunity to delvelop hand tool skills as well as the computerized high tech skills needed in todays market.
